Peripatetic music teachers are available for guitar, piano, singing and other instruments on request. The children benefit from co-operative working with a cluster of 6 local schools, particularly for team sports, Drama, Art and DT and shared trips.

Free home to school transport is provided throughout Upper Wharfedale, Langstrothdale and Littondale for all children living more than 2 miles from school. In all we do we seek to promote high self-esteem for everyone in our school and distinguish ourselves by the quality of care we provide to all members of the school community.

Choosing a school which will provide the best education for your child is one of the most important decisions that a parent has to make. We are delighted to welcome prospective parents and pupils to come and find out more about our excellent school, meet the Head and have a look around to see what makes Burnsall VA Primary so very special.

We are a small, Christian school where every child is valued as an individual. We encourage everyone to develop their own talents and interests as well as become proficient in the key skills. We have high standards and are proud of our pupils’ achievements. Our talented teaching team is supported by dedicated teaching assistants and specialist teachers in PE and Music.
